The company had none of the success that Amitabh did, facing umpteen losses and ultimately shutting down. Some rude jokes about ABCL also did the round when Big B’s baby folded up but bahu Ash is ready to silence the detractors once and for all. Ash is believed to have sent her minions to negotiate deals for ABCL.
Tongues are also wagging about how she has already planned a film starring herself and Abhishek. She’s trying to rope in Rohan Sippy or Goldie Behl for the project, which is one of the six that ABCL has planned. Given that Ash has been pretty lucky with her ventures, the renaming of Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited to Aishwarya Bachchan Corporation Limited might actually do the trick.
“Ash is going to use all her contacts to revive the banner,” a Bachchan camp mole told us. Now that’s what we call a good daughter-in-law, eh?
